Friday 27/5 - Thick mee hoon with ikan billies, fish ball and tow box soup
with fried egg, fried onion and spring onion.


par boil chinese baby lettuce.




Sat 28/5 - Rice with pork chop in tomotes and veg sauce. Big onion, green pepper, tomotoes, peas, chillies and tomotoes sauce, shld add limes juice cos sour taste better it bring out the sweetness of the dish.






sunday 29/5 - dinner - i bought this big otah from Clementi hawker centre.








Sunday dinner - potian wanton noodles from Clementi too, not bad even though i bought it during the early afternoon. The char siew and veg is at the botto

Nothing great about it, heard it is very nice but nothing special, i need to ate lot of limes to make it sour and tasty. The lime jucie that come with it look black and doesnt smell nice so i throw it away, lucky i bought my own limes if not it really got no aroma.After eating tongue lot of pleghm, wont be buying anymore very unhealthy and u dont know what they add inside. Bought prawns, tow kwa, tow box to go with it. I think tow box and boiled egg will do. Tow kwa need to fry, troublsome and prawns doesnt taste any special. Should buy chives instead of spring onion cos it go well with meesiam. It quite a oily meal cos now i feel very full. Mee moon also boil too long.





sat 21/5 - lunch - meesia with old pork leg, roast pork and spinach. The noodles is not fresh got mould smell.

Monday lunch 23/5 - fried rice luncheon meat - premier $2.10 not bad.



tuesday 24/5 lunch - old kuey teow with gai chye and very old chicken cp cube, i roast it today then fry taste not bad, the last time may be not properly cook got one kind of garlic smell.





24/5 tuesday dinner - young sweet pototoes leaves with dry chillies, garlic and dried prawns with fish sweet, try something different.

2 eggs with tomatoes, failed too watery suppose to be soft egg but didnt turn out right, somemore i use two tomatoes , sort of wasting money. Wanted to cook this dish very long, saw vicky cook this so try it out.

20th May 2011 Friday
Kuey teow with fish balss and tow who fish cakes.
This time i cook the sauce, normally i just add the sauce and mixed with hot water but i find the taste a bit raw. After frying the fishcake, i fry two small onions till fragrant add 4 tb of oyster sauce and 1tsp of sesame oil, add 1/4 of cup of water, let it boil for 2 mins.

delicious lunch with lot of dishes - fried egg, bitter gourd, my favourite, mei ling premier luncheon meat and japanese curry which i craze today with strawmushroom and onion slice only.

Tuesday - yu tiao with porridge, just feel like eating yu taio, fragrant stuff, last night prawn with bread crumb very fragrant too, son said too much for him, so i ask him to keep the leftover in the refri but this morning it is gone.

baked white mushroom with cheese and ham; japanese fried chicken.

Today is wed i thought Thurs. Last night saw this channel u cooking program this eye doctor cook this bake white mushroom so today try it out not bad but too little mayo and cheese.

I also learnt how to make another kind of sweet mayo, havent try it out yet.

normal mayo not the japanese kind

condensed milk

lemon juice

salt ( try n taste)

salad - green lettuce, caschew ( pound it ), purple grapes, add mayo and mixed and that it.


White mushroom receipe



1. Pull out mushroom stalk.

2. Use spoon to dig bigger hole in mushroom

3. Chop the stalk and mushroom crumb into small pcs.

4. Fry olive oil with 2 tb of mince garlic till fragrant, add mushroom pcs

fryfor 2 mins add chop ham ( cut into smaller pcs).

5.Scoop mushroom and ham pcs into whole mushroom, fill it up put

mayo on top and mozzrella cheese on top baked for 8 to 10 mins till

cheese turn golden brown.


Feel like eating cp cprisy chicken but run out of stock so bought this japanese lemon chicken from Tay, it is not as good as cp. CP is more cprisy. This jap chicken also very expensive $5.95 almost $6 ! The chicken pcs is quite tender with strong lemon taste but certain part of the crumb is soft may be later i roast it again see it will be more cprisy.

First time i bought this grapeseed oil, heard it is quite healthy just want try it out and see how it taste. My olive oil got one kind of smell, it seem that is cannot be use for cooking ?

triangle tow kee and prawn wrap with fish paste cook in japanese onion sauce.

Saw them on tv eating this prawn dont know wrap with what go online and search and found the receipe. Actually it wrap with squid paste but Singapore doesnt sell this so i use fish paste nothing esp but something different.


receipe


1. prawns rub with salt and pepper, cut it straight and coat with flour.


2. use a plastic bag, wet it and put fish paste on top and spread it out,


wrap the prawn with fish paste and mixed into breadcrumb.


3. fry till cook.


4. Boiled sliced onion with japanese sauce and mirin in slow fire for 15


mins.


5. Put the prawn balls into the sauce to boil for a min and lastly add one


mixed egg into the sauce, off the fire quickly and cover it for 1/2 mins.


Just like japanese gai fan. pour sauce over rice.

9th May 2010 - Monday fried veg fritters - big onion, cabbage and carrot strips, mix with flour, a bit of rice flour, corn flour, chicken cprisy flour, salt, pepper, not bad cprisy when it is eaten just fried. a bit of more salt will be just right. Saw Church selling this veg fritters just feel like eating so just fry it myself.

instant kimchee not sour not nice so making one small patch.

apple ham very nice and sweet so much better than honey ham.

the beef sausauge is crunky.last few days weather super hot but today is a cold weather i blow fan till hand aches again. may be i shld make some hong zhao chee.

saturday lunch - rice with steam white promfret, bittergourd and pork chop. nowsday i feel eating rice esp i learn that songhe rice need to cook with lesser water taste better, not so soft.

lunch - fish balls noodles with mince pork and big chye sim.
yu tiao fry with prawns paste, very nice.
another side of the yu tiao. i try to make squid paste but it didnt turn out well, very soft and not tasty, outside they add pork lard which is very unhealthy. tonight add flour to the squid paste and pan fry it for dinner.
yesterday saw ch 832 cook this and so try it out today. clearing all veg and old meat in the refri going holiday tonight.
