ma po tow who with belly pork and green pepper.

receipe for chicken breast
season chicken breast with
1/2 salt, mix
pepper mix
light sauce
some egg white
corn flour
and a bit of water
mix well by going round till
water is dry up.
1. fry some ginger slice add chicken fry till cook, add cucumber and some water.

Saturday lunch white porridge go with above dishes.
It seem that i dont have the habit sweeping kitchen floor, only when i see very dirty something like 2 week than i sweep !!!!!!!!!!!!!

lunch mee hoon soup with gan chye , fish cake, fried wanton and fish ball.
last night dinner - steam chicken wings with tow who joo.

2 small plates of mixed veg.


fried prawns fritters, son favourite.



steam lion head ball wrap with long cabbage.
29th October 2010 Friday
receipe for lion head ball
$2 mince pork
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp sugar
2 tsp light sauce
1/4 egg
corn flour
long cabbage
spring onion and ginger (smash) soak in water for 15 mins.
mixed together and beat round till glumy. let it stand for at least 1/2 hour.
1. put long cabbage on the plate put ball on top and cover with cabbage,
add some water and spinkle with a bit of salt on veg. The receipe
actually use chicken stock, i think it is even more tasty.
steam for 15 to 20 mins.
making ma la tow who a bit too salty, ma poh and tow pan sauce is very salty, shld add light sauce , use sugar to bring down the saltiness.

lunch - spagetti with japanese curry
last night dinner - sweet and sour pork.

xiao bai chye with yellow pepper and lunch time leftover fish ball.

28th October 2010 Thursday
Saw qi qi (taiwan food blog) cook japanese curry with rice but dont feel like eating rice in the morning so eat with spagetti, not bad. Today eat so early 9.50am yesterday 10.15am, cos i woke up so early 6.45am. Last night i slept at 7pm back aches and also going to get flu, at night very cold but cannot off air-con cos h is at home.
receipe for japanese curry
what u need
1/2 med onion, slice thinly.
2 boneless chicken legs.
1/2 small carrot, cut into smaller pcs.
1 big pototoes ( i use the russel pototoes, which is white and more creamy).
2 big pcs of japanese curry cube, chop.
1. Fry onion till soft, push aside pan fry chicken with skin down for a while
add carrot and fry together.
2. Add enough water just to cover the chicken.
3. When water boiled add in pototoes.
4. Let it cook for 15mins, add water if it is not enough.
5. Add in curry cube, chop it into smaller pcs, easily to cook.
6. Let it cook for another 10 mins.
7. Cook till the consistensy that u like, thick but not watery.

27th October 2010 Wednesday
Lunch - yesterday i ate chee cheong fun so i dont want to eat kuey teow.
Bought kuey teow noodles, i ate yellow noodles, son eat kuey teow.
method to cook noodles.
1. boiled the noodles in hot water to get rid of the yellow noodles smell.
2. wash in cold water in tray.
3. Fry all fishball, go hiang, small onion and spring onion to get the
fragrant oil to fry the noodles.
4. I just add dark sauce to the noodles, it is not salty u need to add some
light sauce, i want to cut down salt , too much salt make my leg cramp
at night.

lunch chee cheong fun with yu tiao ( 2 week ago ? kept in the freezer, got a bit of smell, next time buy new ones.) and har bee hiam and light sauce, lot of spring onion and yan swee and sesame seed ( without frying ).

25th October 2010 Monday
Make pizza today since i am running out bread, next day no breakfast, this time i make a big one instead of two small ones. Cheddar cheese a bit spoilt and i didnt use spagetti sauce i use bbq sauce not so nice. Spagetti sauce bottle is too much alway cannot finish and when i use it to cook spagetti my son will complain a lot. Son went out for lunch with friends also not eating dinner. My daughter eating so fish,veg and wanton with sauce for dinner, too much meat outside.
lunch - healthy fried rice, i add salmon, yellow pepper, lettuce, shao yao, chillies, ginger fry with sesame oil, cos cold weather, egg. salmon and egg give u omega 6 ? I got consiptation so now lunch i must add lot of fibre, tonight will have black bean and dried chestnut soup, bean is also high in frbre.
sunday dinner - hello fried chicken wings, i ate two, too much meat alrdy but still eating.

sunday dinner too - char siew fun - not nice esp i mircowave in the box got box smell and the sauce also not nice, next time better cook myself healthy and nicer too.
25th October 2010 Monday
Later i am going to the room and watch my cantonese cooking show at 11am. Normally i dont like to lie down on bed so early but i like to watch this show and also my stomach a bit stress today, need to sleep to get it heal.


Fried chicken wings with tow who joo, mince ginger and mince spring onion white, not salty enough, so not very tasty but son like it as long as it is fried.
cabbage with old dried scallop and dried prawns, the scallop a bit too fishy i think cannot use it to cook again, still got some left in the refri.

mince pork with black mushroom and can pork, the can pork smell is too strong.


overnight leftover veg.

1. fry shallots, add mince pork till fragrant, add mushroom, wine, sauce, dark sauce, sugar, salt, pepper, some can towcheo pork but i dont have use cube pork instead, not very nice.
fried fish n chips
The fish from s n s is not fresh and too soft.
The batter add too much baking powder and soda, can even see it bubbles in the batter mixture.
8tb flour
3 tb glutinous rice
1 tb rice flour
1 and half tsp double baking powder.
The batter is just like long john silver.

red fish with tow who in sauce, got salted fish should not add sauce, it suppose to be yellow fish with plain tow who, but i use seafood tow who which got favour alrdy, plain tow who better, it will absorb the salted fish.

another simple dish is mince pork, cube tow kwa and can chiilies pork paste add a bit to make the dish nicer, one kind of green bean, chillies for colour and appetisting.

run out of peanut and too much sauce without peanut.

any oh how cook seafood tow who with oyster sauce, the seafood tow kwa is very expensive 80 cents per pcs.

today cook lot of food curry chicken, korean cprisy chicken wing and seafood tow who in sauce, so tired. Today is a raining day, tonight cook winter melon with barley soup cos curry chicken and fried chicken is heaty. tmor will eat all the leftover, today over spent. roast duck too.




last night dinner big chye sim which i cant post yesterday.

my son complain my korean chicken too sweet. i tasted it at first not sweet so i melt some rock sugar and re- cook it. since he complain too sweet i add some lemon juice on it and still havent taste it yet !!!!!
