lunch - veg porridge very simple and fulfilling.
a handful of spinach chop.

ginger strips
chai poh/shallot/dried prawn which i fried two days ago, add 1/2 tb , a bit salty.
salt, light sauce, pepper, sesame oil, porridge boil with pinch of salt and 1 tb of oil.

i fry the chai poh yesterday and use it to fry with chee cheong fun, pple alway eat with
swee kueh. i fry few small onion till brown, add dried prawns till fragrant later fry chai poh till fragrant and add sugar. i shld wash longer cos still quite a bit salty.
Add some spring onion to it.

at night sleeping thinking last two days eating very unhealty food, fried and oily.
today feel like frying chye poh with small onion and dried prawns. cook later
lunch mee hoon soup lot of tow box, tow who, tow kee, tow kwa all kinds of yellow bean need to eat ginger to get rid of the coolness of bean.

lunch - dried noodle with roast pork, spring onion and shallot.yesterday lunch - fried rice with ham eng and spam luncheon meat, eggs, spring onion.
24th august 2010 tuesday
yesterday a sad case happen to hk tourists , it such a sad ending, may their soul rest in peace.
receipe for fried shallot, fry it til cprisy, scoop up on kitchen paper, add sauce on pan, sugar, sesame oil, put back the shallot and fry for a while, my son said very xiang cos it salty, next time add lesser sauce, but salty go well with noodles.

fry spring onion in oil add sauce, add noodles, black pepper, roast pork and sesame oil, a bit oily
but delicious.

23th august 2010 monday
spam luncheon cost $5 very fragrant and salty, it a good pork from us.
receipe for fried pototoes
strip pototoes, wash in water, drip dry, add salt, black pepper, egg, flour, eat it when it is hot, it cprisy and nice.
yellow zucchini - salt it, wash away water, dip in egg then coat with flour, use korean seafood flour even better, pan fry it, eat it when it is hot too, very nice, when cold dont taste good.

today lunch plain hor fun with light sauce and sesame seed, wonder why the seed look like that ?
and the fish balls. lazy lunch didnt even borer to cook veg !

When i cook spagetti my son will said u know how to cook or not? When he eat he complain so much and never see he cook for me. say got cheese when there is no cheese, say dont like butter so many complains.
This is the first time i bought this pan salt wonder why it is so expensive, $4 normal salt only 40 cents, my son said i am silly ??????????? Am i ???

16th august 2010 monday
lunch - fried rice with salted fish, smoked ham and big fat sauages, chop garlic and big oniobn. My daughter likes to eat guava but i heard from radio is not advisever to eat daily or too much ? got too much of dont know what in the fruit. As i am typing my son complain my fried rice is not nice cos no oyster sauce ? next time i will add and see what he said !

lunch - see maag fried saba i bought this malay fish fry until so ugly but taste just as good as the saba , the fish is quite similar eat it when it is hot, rub with salt, later add some light sauce ( tai hua sauce which is for fish, next time i try the chicken sauce.
after this meal i broke my favourite plate which cost me $13.





porridge with yu tiao, can chye sim ( the stem so big ?) and malay fish.



after lunch i just want to drink a 1/4 to 1/2 small cup of coffee 3 in 1 .




last night dinner.





wu hua rou season with five spice, red yeast, light sauce, pepper, sesame oil, cornflour.
pat with sweet pototoes flour and pan fry till golden brown.






brinjal with mince pork and tow ban jiang, eat until stomach bloated, shld left some for H.






squid with tomatoes very nice watch jet tv ch 832 min chu hao liao li. usually i dont like to cook tomotoes, alway got one but left in the refri very long, boil the tomatoes and peel away the skin
very nice , got not enough for it, i ate almost all by myself, tomatoes i mean, shld cut bigger, too small mei yu hou gan.








tow who with mince pork and tow pan jiang, son said dont like i cook only like outside one !
very hard to please, mine taste so much better !!!!!!!!!!!! and healthy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3 person 3 kind of veg !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so tiring after cooking all the dishes. Even now tying also feel tired. really cannot overstress my leg and back, like baby need to take extra care.









11th august 2010 wednesday
today i broke my favourite plate which is the most expensive and newest one cake xin, careless and blame on 7 month ? supersition !!!!!!!!!!!
receipe for tomtoes with any kind of seafood.
1. cut a cross on the back of tomatoes and put into boiling water boil for 1/2 mins.
2. put tomaotes into cold water and peel away the skin in the water.
3. cut into 2 ins cube.
4. scald the seafood in the boiling water too.
5. pan fry spring onion and ginger slice till fragrant, add tomaotes sauce and fry till fragrant.
6. add in tomotes and seafood , sugar, salt, sesame oil fry for 2 mins.
10th august 2010 tuesday
so tiring cook 6 dishes and steam one cod fish, very old rdly.

lunch - two peng kueh, saw this kueh and look nice and long time didnt eat just feel like eating,
but glutinous rice very fattening so just eat bit of if only, actually throw a bit away only.The white is chives glutinous taste better, the other is with normal one peanut.
steam brinjal while it is still purple poke it and see is cook, quickly off fire, oversteam will give u
a brown colour which is not very nice. later cook with mince pork and tow ban jiang.

This is the 2nd pcs i roll it flatter but a bit burn forgot to see time suppose 15 mins i bake for 20mins instead.
pizza for breakfast for me and supper for son. The bread is a bit too thick.

lunch - fried rice with ham end, egg and chopped big onion and spring onion.

even though i just any o how fry it still taste not bad, argur with h at that moment.

This pizza is diy, this time it taste very good. The last time is very dry and not salty enough.

This time i fry the chop big onion till fragrant and fry the ham later fry green pepper for a while.

H bought durian too, but stomach too big on diet cannot eat much. At this age even u eat little u start to put on weight.

receipe for pizza


190 g bread flour

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp sugar

1tsp dry yeast ( next time i try use 3/4 tsp, the yeast smell a bit strong)

100ml warm water

mix all together

then add 3/4 oil to knead again,

when u add oil do not add water or flour again

cos the dough will not ferment. cover with cling

let it stand for 1 hour or more till double in size.

knead it again and let it stand for another 15 mins.

1. roll it out flat.

2. use fork to poke hole on it so it wont rise up like thick bread.

3. 2 big tb pizza sauce or spagetti sauce

4. sprinkle little bit of salt.

4. green pepper, ham with chop onion, cheddar cheese and morella cheese.

saturday lunch - la mian not salty and oily, meat ball with waterchestnut a bit soft inside and not really very tasty. The abalone mushroom cook with tow ban jiang no smell but i add light sauce a bit too tasty and H ate all he suppose to finish the sweet n sour fish which is two days ago food !
last night friday dinner - eggs for me and son.

tow kwa fry with dark sauce.

tow kwa with celery not very nice.





fry prawn fritters, this time i add egg into the flour not very good, it turn soft quite quickly.
need to pan fry again to make it more tasty.
