char siew noodles
home make char siew - very delicious

Saturday usually i will cook this noodles for my son with roast pork
today i make char siew noodles.
The pork i bought is quite expensive $7 is the yao rou.
It a bit too lean to make char siew.
It better to use who hua rou, it is so better cheaper
and got fat taste better.
This is the 1st time i use this part of pork
i saw this lday in the tv making and it look quite nice
so try it, but a bit too dry.
Yesterday i also bought this 5 spice, quite fresh
but may be add a liitle too much slighty bitter.
Later i go west mall top up my mrt card and
do some gorcery shopping.
receipe for char siew
300g pork,cut into long strip
2 to 3 tb oyster sauce (actual receipe use hosin sauce)
1ts light sauce
3 big tb sugar ( actual is 1/2 cup)
1ts five spice powder
1/4 ts pepper
season for 2 to 3 hour
For glazing
1tb oil
1tb dark sauce
1tb honey
1. oven 7 ( depend on the heat of your oven), pre heat for 20 mins
2. Cover pork with aluminum foil, cook for 10mins
3. Uncover cook for another 10mins.
4. Turn to grill, oven door open slightly cos door can get burn.
5. Grill for 5 to 8 mins, when it almost cook
apply glaze and roast till a bit burnt.
6. When grilling, it can get burnt very easily so
every 3 to 5 mins must check on it.
